This is a brief summary of our development activities related to each KPI.

Increase in skills provision linked to LSIP priorities:

New Level 3 courses aligned to LSIP

  • T Level Digital Production, Design and Development
  • Animation and VFX
  • L3 Multi-Channel Marketer

‘Coding For All’ course was launched, initially attracting internal students, and in low numbers, but has the potential to grow and support more disadvantaged groups within Tower Hamlets.

Employer engagement and support

East City Films and Mo-Sys released staff to …

  • develop industry insight teaching session films
  • consult on L3 T-Level Digital Production, Design and Development curriculum design

Improved quality

Teaching staff have undertaken CPD or benefitted from cascade training

  • dbs Online are providing a placement for a media team member
  • Specialist motion capture/virtual production training organised at Mo-Sys
  • Carbon Literacy for 2 Green champions and 2 central service staff
  • Green skills cascade training for 30+ staff delivered by Green champions

Improved coordination and efficiency through greater collaborative activity

Staff from ACC have been involved in creating collaborative content to be shared across the partnership and provided content creation training in our new Event Space.
Leadership team have attended meetings online and in person to explore collaboration opportunities with partners (e.g. Employer Engagement).

Spend on facilities and equipment linked directly to LSIP priorities

ACC London performance space fitted out with new industry standard audio visual equipment, to enable the recording and streaming of video content for remote/ online learners.
Computer labs advanced coding allowing for T levels. Development of motion capture space to be used across all courses to enhance delivery of digital skills -VFX, streaming, networking AV etc.
