Introduction to Video Production

Many of us want to produce instructional video content for both our learners and for training our staff. We can obviously buy in this service, but it is pretty expensive – so increasingly providers are choosing to do this themselves – in-house.

You don’t need to be Steven Spielberg, but you do need to know the basics about cameras, lighting and sound. Get those right and you have a good chance of producing something that is professional looking. The filming process is time-consuming, but also very rewarding – and the impact can be powerful.

This suite of incredibly helpful ‘taster’ videos by the dBs institute and Access Creative College will help you to understand some of the key principles and considerations at each stage from kit purchase to post-production.
